Mixed marriages |
| Let only the mixed marriage couples or their children comment about mixed marriages, the others please stay out. You know nothing and have experienced nothing. Children of mixed marriages are beautiful, pretty and handsome so much so that they are in demand when searching for life partner. They are smart too, given the opportunity of course, and need not look for equal opportunity. They often take the best attributes of the individual races. Look around see for yourself. They represent the nation, they are truly Malaysian, call them Chindian Inchian, Mamak, Chindma, Maychin whatever they are called they represent the races in Malaysia. An Indian marrying a Chinese has offsprings that represent 2.3 Billion people ie the population of China and India combined which is about half the population of mankind. They can be proud to be the descendents of Shih Huang Ti and Asoka. I would be proud to be an offspring of mixed marriages. One mixed marriage offspring in school in Malaysia was asked by the teacher what race she belonged too. She proudly told the teacher "Saya anak Malaysia". What better way for a One Malaysia state. |

Sikhs first then Punjabi then only Indian |
| You asked the Sikhs whether they are Indians the answer is no. It is because they are Sikhs first then Punjabis then only Indians. The same for the Telegus who will celebrate Udagi, the Malayalees Onam. Only the Tamils often call themselves Indian first (generally of course). The Telegus and the Malayalees believe and consider themselves as Aryans, whereas the Tamils are proud to be Dravidians and to carry the Dravidian torch, whereas history of man tells us that they are all Dravidians. Maybe the other three do not want to associate with the Dravidian Tamils like the Sri Lankan Tamils, thats why the mentality of dissociating through such beliefs and actions. Poor Indians! (all of them actually are), with this mentality they can never be united like the Chinese and the Malays who celebrate Chinese and Malay(Islam) festivities with great enthusiasm uniting them. |

Billionaires |
| Now we hear the richest guy in the world is a Mexican. How did this guys do it? Is it through their sheer hard work, blood sweat and tears or was there some short cut to becoming a billionaire. What are they going to do with all that wealth contributed by the world's natural resources? I hope they do give some back to society. That will be good karma for them. I wonder how many of them really give back sincerely not so much for tax cuts but for the good of mankind. It is perplexing to see millions starving and suffering daily but a few making it big in terms of wealth. Somehow the communist system that promised equal wealth has failed us miserably (do not include China it is a communism only in name). We need another system that will ensure equal wealth for the worlds people, otherwise the frustrated poor will take it away from the rich by means that society may not condone. We do not want another French, Russian or Chinese Revolution. Capitalism seems to rule the world today and seems to be "successfull" in creating billionaires and at the same time also creating destitutes. The world today is dominated by the billionaires who can influence policies at the local and international levels. We are all pawns in their (billionaires) game for power and wealth. |

Global warming |
| Yes it is happening. In Kerala , India temperatures has gone up to 50 degrees Celsius. In Malaysia too it has gone up too but thanks to the rains that keep it down through latent heat. We need to have more ground cover. In the East coat, Sabah and Sarawak we are still cutting down timber to make way for highways, dams, housing estates, oil palm plantations and what not. Little has been done in terms of reforestation. Only the government can do that. Private companies are hungry for land to be converted to profitable business. Government of the day should intervene to preserve the forests for its inherent benefits to mankind otherwise we are going to see 50 degrees in the near future and more in the distant future here in Malaysia. |

Why the clamour for Ong Ka Ting's return? |
2010/03/14
KUALA LUMPUR, Sun -- The clamour for former MCA President Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting to contest the party's top post in the March 28 elections is being widely debated among party members.
A 2 headed snake grows another head!
Head 1. Doing nothing at all is better than doing bad things.
Head 2. Putting my head in a woman's mouth didn't land me in jail, so I cannot be wrong.
Head 3. Of course there is corruption but its how corrupt you are that matters.

Cars, Cars and Cars everywhere |
| It took me 2 hours to get from Kajang to Jalan Tun Razak KL from 6.15 to 8.15pm yesterday until my petrol tank almost ran dry. It was a massive traffic jam, I am still wonder why. Is it because traffic from new highways like the DUKE and the Putrajaya Tun Razak highway pours into the the old Tun Razak road. If so the highway planners and implementors have done a shoddy job. Whatever it is we have not solved our traffic woes. The people entrusted to do it have failed us very miserably and pathetically with all their never ending excuses. We pay toll to drive through with ease not to get into traffic snarls. It is really ridiculous that Malaysia which has some of the best highways in the world but has not managed them well in terms of traffic flow. If those entrusted to do the job are not able to do it please give it to someone who can do it. I am sure there are people around who can do it. Put the right people in the right place and I am pretty sure everything will run well. Malaysian traffic woes are a never ending saga. Build "cangih" highways and then add a few thousand new cars a year into the highways. Yes, we produce cars for local use but at the same time the highways should be able to cope with the additional traffic. If we want to have a nation of 5 children per family there must be sufficient schools, health care facilities, etc, etc. Those who make policies are not doing their job and seem to have no foresight. |

Heroes of Philanthrophy |
| Heroes of Philanthrophy announced by Forbes includes people who have donated money. What about those people who have given their time and energy for the common good and betterment of mankind which cannot be measured in terms of money. Donating money alone does not make one a philanthroper |
