Clarke could miss West Indies tour
    Malaysia Sun
    Friday 9th May, 2008
    (IANS)

Australian vice-captain Michael Clarke is in doubt for this month's West Indies tour for personal reasons.

Clarke, who was at the Australians training camp in Brisbane, has requested he delay his departure to the West Indies due to the failing health of his fiancee Lara Bingle's father, reports The Australian

Clarke has returned to Sydney to be with Bingle.

The Australian selectors have yet to decide whether another player will be flown to the West Indies and if Clarke does not go, then Victorian batsman Brad Hodge is the player most favoured to come into the side.

The 15-man squad is scheduled to fly out of Australia Saturdat for the three-Test tour, starting with a tour match on May 16.
