A thief who stole a flowerpot containing the ashes of an African witch doctor grandmother is risking an involuntary sex change, her grandson warned in a letter published Thursday in a New Zealand newspaper.
The pot was stolen from the home at Gulf Harbour, near Auckland, of At du Plooy, who wrote to the Rodney Times saying he was a medium and keeps in touch with spirit of his grandmother who died 16 years ago in Africa at age 93.
She had put a curse on an area one kilometre around the pot with sex-change icons that can gradually change men into women and vice versa, unless the pot is returned, he wrote.
Du Plooy said he thought he could trace the pot with her spiritual help, but his grandma was not familiar with the area where it had been taken.

Witch Doctor NonsenseIt is just as nonsensical as thinking that you can change the Divine Plan of an omniscient God by ritual begging (i.e. prayer). This witch doctor’s curse isn’t any more stupid than any other religious superstition. They all give people the illusion of control in an inherently chaotic universe. |

Plant pots, Putin, The universe.I tried and failed, to read this and not be amused, so I thought I’d add my interpretation.
The universe is chaotic and orderly.
chaos = beginnings/changes
order = structure/stagnant
Entropy is a lack of chaos and the path to order, so the most chaos in the universe was the big bang, and the most order is yet to come when all suns die and the universe becomes inert.
So the universe is currently closer to chaos than order.
I personally prefer the rule of five. It can be found in nearly every religion, in some form or other, twisted by the need to understand it and define it as a way of life.
Here it is in a nutshell.
For there to be something, there has to be nothing. so 1=2 because without the nothing the something cannot be defined. Now that there is something and nothing there must be a point in between them, a dividing line.
So 1 = 2 = 3
The father the son and the holy spirit is one religious definition.
The 3 hindu gods is another, the creator, the destroyer, the maintainer.
If you wish to understand it more, tough, I’m bored now and moving on.
And no, I doubt the pot thief will change sex because of someone elses belief unless he hears about the curse and has a weak mind. then his own lack of belief will be swayed subconsciously to take the curse as real and create enough doubt in themselves that it can only be understood as wishing to change sex. |
