At least six civilians, including women and children, have been killed in a military air raid in Pakistan. A total of about 45 people were reported killed.

Security officials said preparations for suicide attacks in Peshawar were underway in the Tirah valley. On Tuesday night, several air strikes were carried out by the military which destroyed militant hideouts, a training centre, an illegal radio station and vehicles supposed to be involved in the suicide attacks. One of the air raids struck civilians, the BBC reports.

In April, dozens of civilians were mistaken to be a part of the Taliban and were killed in air strikes. (ANI)
