Nude Europe good for travel agents
    Malaysia Sun
    Thursday 14th February, 2008

With nudist beaches, nudist resorts and nudist hotels becoming more popular throughout Europe, it was only a matter of time before an enterprising travel agency came up with nudist charter flights.

The Ossi Reisen travel agency in Germany, says Germany has a long tradition of nudism, with eastern Germany being at the heart of the naturism movement.

Ossi Reisen management say there is now a tremendous demand for nudist hotels, nudist restaurants, nudist bars and nudist gyms.

The first flights for next summer to the German Baltic Sea island of Usedom have already been booked out, six months in advance.

    Nudist Laws

I want some feedback here. It may seem some of my neighbors may have seen a little more of me then they like. I enjoy Colorado sunshine and have been sunning on my back porch behind some bushes for years. I cover up when going in and out of the house, but have even been brave enough to walk outback nude after dark. ( It feels great.) Today I saw the police talking to some of my neighbors. (Hum) I wonder if it was about me? I may just be a little paranoid. Time may tell. They did not knock on my door! After reading the laws I don’t think I have anything to worry about. 18-7-302, Indecent Exposure. (1) A person commits indecent exposure if he knowingly exposes his genitals to the view of any person under circumstances in which such conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm to the other person. I was out in the sun for a couple of hours today. If they are spying on me- via cameras or whatever who is at fault? I was born nude. Is it a crime? Love to be nude! The Natural

Naked activity is just activity without clothes

It’s a fact that we are oppressed in the U.S.A. by puritanical people who are either ignorant (un-knowing) or projecting their shame on us. We have the right to be at the beach naked in a certain percentage of space, but are persecuted by laws of the anti-intellectual prudes. In reference to Vizor’s comment, how could I be labeled an exhibitionist if I often enjoy being naked on a beach when there’s no one else around, or in my home? Also, what’s so wrong with exhibitionism, really, on an intellectual level? If somebody wants to be seen naked when I walk by, what do I care? Maybe they’re really just longing for a human connection, and deserve compassionate understanding — I don’t know. Being naked is simply the same as not being naked, except for clothes: I can be naked and feel happy, content, sad, depressed, scared, horny, angry, whatever. Yes, if I see a beautiful woman naked on the beach, part of the happy feeling I get is about sex, because we are humans — sexually-reproducing vertebrates. But that’s no different than if she were wearing a bathing suit, or even street clothes — I could still get turned on by her if she’s wearing a nice suit. The bottom line is that being naked feels free and good and liberating, and satisfying to sensual people, and in the sun, it’s very relaxing. And being with naked with naked people gives a person a feeling of comradery and human connection — it breaks down barriers and increases happiness. Other than that, it’s no different than wearing clothes.

    Hogwash ?

I just love to lay out in the Sun in the nude. ( Infact I told my wife that this morning.) And have done it on my back porch on my days off, even this winter. (On the warmer days here in Colorado.) My wife and daughters spent some nice family time tanning nude in our backyard in the past. I really kind of miss the old days. I don,t know if she got me started or if it was the other way around. I just enjoy it.(Hogwash yourself!) The Natural

    Dear Vizor

I don’t know how anyone who calls themself a “professional journalist” with 24 years of experience can be so closed minded! Unless you have tried it - and given it a fair chance - how can you understand how we naturists feel? There is nothing on this earth as liberating and freeing as shedding the guilt and shame that textile bound slaves “exhibit” everyday. Once you have walked a mile in our shoes, THEN you can pass judgement.

Don't lump true nudists with abusers

Vizor, do you have a reference on this research so that we could look at it? In my experience, true “nudists” (that is, those who would call themselves nudists and join nudist clubs and organizations, are not at all interested in exhibiting themselves in front of people who would be offended. The nudist environment is not at all sexually stimulating as the bodies of everyday folks are far from perfect. I would say that there are fewer abusers in nudist clubs than in society in general. My spouse and I are Christians, have been married for 35 years and don’t know any “swingers, pedophiles, voyeurs or other unsavory types”.

    I need more information, Vizor

Vizor, Concerning your sister’s research on nudists. I would expect to find more of anything if one is working from a smaller sample of people. If you have more people in a sample, it is going to take longer to find uncommon individual behaviors. Less people and you should find those behaviors more easily. Sample size is only one issue that would affect her research. Behaviors measured by age, sex, educational levels, racial backgrounds, or marital status and any combinations of such are just the beginning of variables that can affect conclusions research might reach. I believe you mean well. Your comments concerning your sister’s research don’t sway what I think about nudists in the least. I’d have to know a great deal about her research if there is a possibilty of that happening.

    Cool post!

I am not comfortable with the idea of going nude at a beach in front of a lot of other people, or the thought of being caught having sex in the woods before I found http://www.naturistspace.org, now! I can tell everyone that I AM A naturist! Why not? What is there to be ashamed of? Being nude is great!Tell’em you’re a naturist! Why not? What is there to be ashamed of? Being nude is great, but it can be rather boring if you have to be alone to be nude. Quite often, the approach you use to tell somebody you are a naturist will have a big impact on how they respond. Some techniques work better than others, and will depend upon the people involved.

    Exhibitionism

Nudism is just exhibitionism is denial. It is mainly practised by sad, middle-aged or elderly men, often dragging their brainwashed wives along, pretending it’s “non-sexual”. Yeah! Sure! Stop pretending - you’re fooling nobody. It’s no big deal to wear a swimming costume or a pair of shorts.

    Question for Vizor

Vizor, Sounds like you have some experience in this area. Please tell us how you know these things?
    By Vizor, 02-19-08, 03:01 PM
Lukesky. My sister, who had been a nudist herself and married to a committed nudist, did a PhD research thesis on nudism. The stuff she found out about this so-called “non-sexual” pastime was amazing. It’s one BIG con trick. After six years of research, she reached the inescapable conclusion that nudists are invariably exhibitionists, or the partners of exhibitionists, and they have more than their fair share of swingers, paedophiles, voyeurs and other unsavory types in their ranks. If they want to practise this sort of stuff, fine, let them get on with it, but they should stop pretending it is respectable and they should stay behind their high fences and out of sight of decent folk.

    Dear Vizor

Amazing. I must be an extremely lucky one. We, my wife and I have been nudists for decades now. We know a lot of other nudists, but our experience is definitely different from that of you buzzy sister. Sorry Vizor, but don’t be so scared of the life.
    By Vizor, 02-27-08, 01:00 PM

    Dear Mandreas

Glad to hear there are “respectable” nudists out there and that you are one of them. I’ll keep away from your nudist beaches if you keep away from the ones I use. Fair enough? As for being scared of life, don’t even go there. I’ve been a journalist for 24 years for a national news agency covering everything from wars to celebrity gossip and there isn’t much I haven’t seen. There are some things I don’t want to see when I’m chilling, like people showing off their private parts to each other on the pretext that it is liberating etc. That’s just hogwash!
