    Malaysia Sun
    Saturday 17th May, 2008

Tata Motors of India has launched a new dual fuel, eco-friendly model of its Indica range of vehicles.

The new model, Indica V2 Xeta LPG, is equipped with both a petrol and LPG engine to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 10 percent.

The new model affords a smooth transition between the two fuel modes even when the vehicle is moving.

Tata Motors notched revenues of US$7.2 billion last year.

Recently, the company successfully negotiated a deal to take over the coveted Jaguar and Land Rover brands of Ford Motors.
