Ferrari 458 cars are being recalled throughout the world.
The decision on the recall of all 458 Italia cars was made after reports were made of a number of the luxury cars catching fire.
Ferrari has flown its engineers to locations around the world, including California, Paris, Switzerland, and China, to deal with the recalls which involve modifications to about 1,200 of the supercars.
The 458 Italia typically costs about US$260,000.
Ferrari said the problem had been traced to overheating adhesive used in the wheel-arch assemblies.
