    (ANI)

Sydney, June 29 : Superman star Brandon Routh has revealed that he would love to be a part of Justice League, the American fictional DC Universe superhero team.

With reports circulating that Justice League script is ready to roll, Routh has divulged that he would certainly be interested in reprising his role as Superman for the movie and would be eager to "work with Christian Bale, who plays Batman and whoever else was to be a part of it".

The former fashion model added that he doesn't know anything about the project other than the script reports.

Talking about the "Superman Returns" sequel, Routh said that it will start warming up next year.

"I'm excited to begin... whenever we do begin... the earlier, the better, next year I think. I'm getting a little itchy to get back into Superman," Moviehole quoted him, as saying.

The original line-up for Justice League is Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter.

The team has also included Green Arrow, Atom, Hawkman, Black Canary, Captain Marvel, Plastic Man and dozens of others.
