It’s quite possible that all of this is related to the wet weather. Certain molds are lethal when ingested. Since most birds eat grain and seed then this could be the culprit. All areas that this have happened have been abnormally wet. Also bacteria thrive in wet humid conditions. Since, from what I have read, they have for the most part ruled out Bird flu then these 2 would be my first choices. It’s January and raining right now in Northern Indiana. Not very normal. Blame global warming and us. Not God.
