Man Sentenced After Manslaughter Plea

A man awaiting trial for murder has pled guilty to a lesser charge. Robert Lee Jones admitted killing Michael Perry two years ago on Savannah's westside.

In September 2004, Jones shot Perry to death on Westlake Avenue. Today he pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

A judge sentenced him to 14 years in prison.
