Halliwell raises weight fears before reunion tour

    (IANS)

Pop singer Geri Halliwell has raised concerns over her low weight as she wants to look her best for the upcoming Spice Girls reunion tour.

A close friend of hers said: 'You could feel her bones sticking through. She's on the cusp - she looks good now but if she takes it any further, she's going to start to look ill. She's incredibly compulsive. The Spice Girls' reunion is a huge deal for her and she wants to look her very best for her moment back in the limelight.'

Her weight problems began in 1996 when the Spice Girls just started out. She began over eating and vomiting to stay thin. But after the group split, her body shape seemed to change week by week. Her weight finally stabilised when she gave birth to her daughter last year, mirror.co.uk reported.

Halliwell said: 'If there's one thing I've learned, it's how you feel and not how you look that matters. Absolutely nothing matters more than your child. Everything else pales into insignificance.'
