Oldman confirmed for fifth Potter film

Gary Oldman has agreed a deal to reprise his role as Sirius Black in the fifth Harry Potter film, 'The Order of the Phoenix'.

Empire Online reports that the actor's manager, Doug Urbanski, confirmed the news to a Gary Oldman fan site, GaryOldman.info.

Urbanski later explained to Harry Potter news website HPANA.com that a deal was done when producers were told that the British star had another film offer.

Previously movie giant Warner Bros had no agreement in place for Oldman to return for the fifth film and so he was a free agent.

"The end of the story is: Gary's in it. It's a terrific script, and he's so happy to be back," Urbanski told HPANA.com.
