    (IANS)

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was the surprise inclusion in Fabio Capello's squad for England's forthcoming friendlies against the United States and Trinidad and Tobago.

The 21-year-old has been highly impressive this season after joining City from Shrewsbury, and was on the bench as his side conceded eight at Middlesbrough.

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone earned his first call-up, while Middlesbrough defender David Whetaer, Blackburn left-back Stephen Warnock and Everton defender Phil Jagielka were also invited.

Defenders Joleon Lescott, Micah Richards and Matthew Upson miss out through injury.
