Tokyo, July 31, 2006 (JCN) - Shimadzu Corporation released an enhanced multi-purpose digital R/F system, the "Sonialvision Safire II", on July 26. This plasma 17" X-ray diagnostic device includes new feature such as the one-million pixel CCD camera which produces HD, high-contrast of 2880x2880 matrix images.
Through-put is improved with a processing that allows inputting film, sending images, recording data simultaneously regardless of a video or an image and an automatic conditional setting for each diagnostic examination feature.
The Windows based system enables an easy view and operation with an 8.4" color TFT plasma screen. The wide apparatus is suitable for Endoscopic procedures allowing full head -to-toe coverage with the full longitudinal sliding range of imaging unit that can be titled at any angle, thus, moving of the patient is minimized.
