Dunn Building Co. wins $1.4 million contract to build Walker County manufacturing facility

Dunn Building Co. LLC has been awarded the contract to build the new $1.4 million, 40,000-square-foot building for Central States Manufacturing Inc. in Jasper Industrial Park in Walker County.
Project manager is John Lankford and superintendent is James Heflin.
Serving commercial and residential customers throughout the U.S., Central States Manufacturing manufactures and distributes fasteners, standing seam panels, trim, gutters, structural steel products and mini storage systems. It is an employee-owned company headquartered in Lowell, Ark.
The Jasper facility, which will house manufacturing and sales operations, will bring the company's total locations to six.
An official groundbreaking occurred yesterday, and the project is slated for completion in October 2006.
Based in Birmingham, Dunn specializes in design-build projects for industrial clients. The company had total revenue of $20 million and local revenue of $8 million in 2004.
