Another fight for Cameron
Shane Cameron back in the ring after missing out on any action at Aussie Stadium
26 May 2006
Boxer Shane Cameron will be back bobbing and weaving tomorrow night, having missed out at the Anthony Mundine - Danny Green undercard last week.
The New Zealand heavyweight's fight for the vacant WBA Pan-African belt was cancelled when his Nigerian opponent pulled out unfit.
However his manager Ken Reinsfield has organised a re-match with Hirawa Te Rangi on a Sean Sullivan undercard in Kerikeri tomorrow night to keep his charge in shape.
Reinsfield says Te Rangi is the only person to go 12 rounds with Cameron in New Zealand, so it is good to have a strong fight so quickly after the disappointing cancellation of the last one.
He says he is organising another shot for the Pan-African belt against a South African fighter, which will be in Auckland.
