Cate Blanchett refuses to go under the knife

    (ANI)

Washington, May 13 : Actress Cate Blanchett has declared that she would never go under the knife to boost her looks.

In a recent interview with Britain's Glamour magazine, Blanchett, who turns 39 on May 14, said that she would never get plastic surgery done, because she is convinced wrinkles reflect a person's life experiences.

The mother-of-three insisted that she is proud of her imperfections and would never turn to surgery to repair them.

"I see someone's face, someone's body who has had children, and I think they're the song lines of your experience, and why would you want to eradicate that?" Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"Death is not going to be any easier just because your face can't move," she added.
